A 30-minute drive to the South of Lyon, the Caveau du Château is a space to welcome wine lovers. Here you can discover, taste and purchase some of the most prestigious wines that the Rhône Valley has to offer.
This is a place steeped in history where the Guigal family wishes to share their love of this illustrious region and its heritage. A place which has given birth to great wines and great winemakers alike.

Tastings
Whether planned or spontaneous, tastings are always on offer for visitors to the Caveau du Château!
“Welcome Tastings” are available all day without appointment. Our visitors can select their favourites from a range of about thirty wines. A convivial moment to share!
“Themed Tastings” can be booked in advance for an exclusive, more intimate experience. These are held in a private room and aim to combine enjoyment and learning. “Focus on Terroir” tastings offer a comparison of several wines from the same appellation or an overview of a region. A delicious moment to treat yourself to or to treat someone else!

Visits
Cellar Immersion
Deepen your knowledge of wine by meeting the people who make it. Immerse yourself in the cellars to discover how our domains are run on a daily basis as well as the expertise and values behind them.
Traverse the vertiginous slopes of the Côte-Rôtie, observe the vertical nature of their famous terraces and meet the key players involved in this heroic wine growing! You can either enjoy the “comfort” tour by car or a “sports” tour by Segway.
